Blurry

1 Cor 13:12-13
12 For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood [by God]
13 And so faith, hope, love abide [faith-conviction and belief respecting man's relation to God and divine things; hope-joyful and confindent expectation of eternal salvation; love-true affection for God and man, growing out of God's love for and in us], these three; but the greatest of these is love.

The greatest gift of all is love for God is Love(capitalized because it is the Love that is undefiled and still in it's purest form). The love that places others, before ourselves in all situations and circumstances. Not because we want something in return, but because we want to share what God has given us with others. To share such a gift as His Son who lowered Himself for every one of us. The Word that became flesh who willingly walked to a wooden cross to nail all of our sins for all time to it and gave His life to give Life. He placed each one of us, before Himself while we were still sinners to undo what the first Adam had done for all to inherit. Such a Love as to give His only begotten Son, so we may be reconciled to God the Father once again. So that each of us may be given the power to be called children of the Living God once again. To look above and know we have a Loving, nurturing Father who is in Heaven. A Love that we can not begin to understand, but to feel such Light that He places within to share with all the world.
For we stive as believers to become as Christ, to grow into all He wants us to be, to do His will, to live as Godly people who are chosen and seperated from among the world of darkness. If we then know that God is Love and we want to be as Him in character, how can we not love with all our heart all who God created in His image. Not for our own wants or desires for that is what caused us to fall from perfection, but for everyone else that maybe a little of God may be seen in our eyes. We must always remember that God Loved us first and this is where everything begins, with God. As we lay down and move ourselves out of the way we begin to become all that man was created to be. What wonders shine through when love is the reason.
There will still come pain, there will still be those who will hate you, there will still come times when you will recieve nothing back from the recipient, there will still come doubt from others as to why, there will still be those who will walk away, and there will still be those times late at night when you find yourself sitting all alone with your eyes filled with tears for others and yourself. But what can you do, but get back up one more time. What can you do, but open your heart even though it may be stepped on. What can you do, but know there is a Father in Heaven who Loves you more than words could ever describe. You can do nothing, but to share what have been placed within you from far above with every human being.
So, you lay down instead of standing, you whisper instead of yelling, you stay silent instead of speaking, you share honesty instead of deceipt, you plead instead of pushing, you embrace instead of turning away, you forgive instead of resent, you open instead of close, and you give all that you are able instead of taking from any other. I wake each day to be such a person, but I know I fall very short. I know I am fallen, yet these eyes can see that place far above from where each of us once stood, before our brokeness. The Holy Spirit that has been placed within gives these glimpses of Glory where we shall stand some day through Jesus Christ with the Love, which still holds complete purity in every way. Until then I pray for love to be placed in this heart, so that it may be given to all who I am able to touch. It may not be perfect love, but it will be all that God enables me to share in this place. I will ever keep grasping at greater love, at growing a little more each day, at holding to hope patiently, at giving Grace as I have been given, at doing all that is Gods will, and at never losing the awe of what is to come with the beginning of each new day.

"To Live"

Here we are because of Him who gave us life. We open our little eyes to let in the first breaking of light from the world, so that we may see. We simply trust, love, obey, believe, and so much more without question or worry. We grow and learn such things as hate, deceipt, pride, and so much more always questioning or worrying. Our world enlarges as we have gone from crawling, to walking, to riding a bicycle, to driving a car, all the way to flying on an airplane. Yet, mentally our world has become smaller as we have gone from believing, from trusting, from imagining to only accepting what is proven, to only believing what is seen, and only trusting what is already known. Have we truly grown or have we become a product of this place we now live?
But, to unlearn all the breaking wisdom that has caused us to falter in so many ways. If only to lay down what people call life that we may truly live. To live for all that cannot be seen with these two eyes, or held in these two hands, or understood with such limited senses that we have been given. We do have something though that can show the way. It is the human mind, an open heart, and a spirit who seeks to find. A humble man with proper sight cannot ignore that mankind has no control over any given circumstance. No control over the power that holds the nucleus of an atom together, no control over the power that keeps every single body in the universe in its proper motion. We may even understand a great many things, but we still cannot answer why or how or when or who without knowing deep within we are lying to ourselves.
Can man create life from nothing? Can man move the moon? Can man predict exactly when and where the next hurricane will originate and end, before its time? Can man do a single thing without what has already been placed here on earth for him/her? Man is able to bow a head or lower to his/her knees. To say thank you, ask for help , or admit he/she can't do this on their own. We can make the choice to believe, to trust, to hope, to love, to forgive, and to see goodness in this imperfect world. This is my prayer for every person who lives now or ever will live. Close your eyes and you will begin to really see all that is Truth. Open your heart knowing it will be filled with the Holy Spirit, which searches far and wide for any who seek Light to see. No one will need to teach you a single work or way for it will be revealed to you. You will hear people speak and hear a loud "YES" or "NO" deep inside. The same voice that is will point you to Him who has saved, is saving, and will save whoever lays down to take His hand. You will begin to live for all that can never be seen without any conscience effort. People will tell you that you are different for some reason.
It is because you will begin to live for all that has not yet come, which is the Good News of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ who places us in complete union with our true Father. For what man can Redeem your soul, or what set of rules are able to cleanse you from sin, or what ritual makes you a child of the living God? Only God and He already has by giving the life of His very own Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting Life. May you be given peace, comfort, and the Love of God who patiently waits for you to come Home.

"A Cross To Bear"

How I have missed so many days, how I have missed so many times, yet
always I will
be back. Always I will crawl, until this good work that has begun continues
onward
and upward to its completion.
This heart breaks it aches with such pain brought by the darkness I see
surrounding
this body here. Such shadows that still linger in this hopeful heart that is
indwelt by
the Holy Spirit. Still, this body does what my spirit does not will it to do,
still do I fall
again and again. Such a journey is there yet to be traveled, such a road to
be taken,
and I will joyfully take my cross to bear. For of one thing I know for
certain is this;
that I have earned much more than to carry my cross throughout these
days. I have
earned death eternal, yet through death I have been gracefully given Life
eternal.
So, give me my cross to carry with such an overwhelming weight that this
body could
not possibly hope to hold it alone. I will continue to fall down, yet with
such
weakness filled with tears there comes a helping hand, which wraps
underneath both
these arms. These eyes turn to focus on the Morning Star who lifts this
cross with
me, to stand back up, and to move forward with His brilliance which lights
the Way.
I see so many who scoff, who laugh, who spit, and hold themselves with
such pride
when they see the sight of the burden, which I bear. If you could only see
that I do
not bear it alone. These eyes slowly rise as this spirit cries to them all,
"Do not know?
I carry this cross for every single one of you!". I carry it so when this body
falls, your
eyes may see the Son of Man who lifts me back up to lead me down this
narrow path.
To hope you may see to the end of this path where there is only one thing
left. The
cross that has caused such pain on the earth is also the reason any are
able to come
Home to where they have always belonged. And they shall be clothed in
robes of
white that have been cleansed by the blood of the Lamb who carried His
cross not so
long ago for all mankind. That we may be taken to a place where there is
no night for
Gods glory will bring such brilliance revealing all that was once hidden
forevermore.

"He Is Risen"

The Lord is risen, the only name of flesh given to God
who is Jesus Christ and He lives on to this day forever
Have you not heard of the man named Jesus Christ
who preached the Word of God
and healed the sick
The Lord is risen, for the stone has been rolled away
never to imprison the body again
Have you not heard of the multitudes who saw Him
with their very own eyes
walk this earth
after His death
The Lord is risen, the door has been opened
that all may approach the true living God
of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob
Have you not heard Him calling your name
deep within the heart that has been given
from your true Father
The Lord is risen, His blood has been shed
His sacrifice made and
His place taken at the right hand of God
and He petitions on your behalf
Have you not yet taken the hand of the One who created it
who gave the life of His only begotten Son
so all mankind may be given salvation
The Lord is risen, indeed, so any who choose to believe
who lay down their life in this world
may call upon His name
for true Life
Have you not known such Hope that walks with you through this world
every step which is taken
knowing He is there
The Lord is risen and His light shines on
in every disciple set atop a hill
for all to clearly see
Have you not seen, how I pray you will see
and add to His magnitude
in this place called earth
Until, the Lord, who is risen, takes our hand
to serve with brothers and sisters
in Gods very presence
for the rest of eternity

"A Disciple"

There is no pride taken when righteousness is chosen

to simply follow all the teachings of your Master

with all your heart and soul in every circumstance

There is no I when this body walks upon this earth

only Him that abides within this weakened structure

to make whole what has already been lost

There is no deception in any action taken towards others

only one Truth after the next slowly shown day by day

for such sight can only come from the Wisdom of our Creator

There is no conflict that settles upon a human being

who has aligned themselves with the Divine Spirit given

through unwavering faith and submission

There is no hate to consume the soul, such a flaming sword

swung with the might of the darkest depths far below

only this love whose blinding light vanquishes all emptiness

There is only our Father who gave His Son from heaven

the blood of such a perfect, untarnished lamb that cleanses

us all, so some day we may all take His hand and raise up

to look upon the beauty of His face for the rest of eternity
