Become

Where does it begin? It begins as the morning light breaks through the lingering darkness, which brings another new day for every person on this earth. It begins with a fall from far above when once your knowledge had placed you on the highest mountain top. Yet, soon the truth took hold only after descending from what you once thought was everything for the only place left to look was up. It begins when there is finally no where else to look and no one else on this planet has the power to make any difference in your life. It begins when you choose to lower your head in reverence to the One who created you. It begins when all your eyes can see any longer is one failure after another, which caused you to drop one tear after another knowing you cannot change what is already done. It begins when you slowly learn to move out of Gods way, so His glory is revealed. It begins when you think you have come so very far in your walk and still you fall. When you know the pain that comes with each failure that knocks all life from within your soul making you look far above over and over.
To become as Christ-like in character as you can, before your time is all one can pray. How this reminds me of a quote from Bob Jones Sr.,"No man is entitled to a feast of forgiveness and a banquet of pardoning mercy who thinks he deserves them. Those who know they don't deserve them are the only ones who will ever have them". A Christian is a strange creature as far as this man can see. There is such pain of failure and the suffering seen all around each of us and at the same time there is a healing hand to mend the wounds. There is the knowledge that nothing will ever be enough to repay all that has been given from God and at the same time there is an incomprehendible Love placed deep inside. There are times when fear fill me within and at the same time I know it will be alright because there is never a time when the good Lord is not right there with me.
God has spoken and who are any of us to bring forth a single syllable. He has given such a gift to those He has chosen long ago, before any ever knew Him. The sins of the chosen have been imputed(charged to ones account) to Christ and His righteousness imputed to us. Thus, in Atonement a vicarious(a vicor is one who takes anothers place) sacrifice expiates(purging out, washing away, covering, or making reperation; especially by suffering a penalty such as expiating a crime) guilt (pollution and deserved punishment), propitiates(covers over guilt and appeases one who has been offended) God, and reconciles God to man.

May Peace and Love be yours to hold,
From above through me :)
